Top 10 Hindi Openers: Adipurush – Top 3 Guaranteed

This week’s big release, Adipurush, commenced its advance bookings on Sunday, and they have caught on fire in the Hindi version. There is a huge demand for the 3D version, and the shows are getting sold out at a brisk pace.

The highest pre-sales for any film in the history of Indian cinema is 6 lakh tickets sold by Baahubali 2. Then comes Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which sold 5.56 Lakh tickets in advance before its release. KGF 2 stands 3rd with around 5 Lakh tickets.

The trade expects that Adipurush will easily touch the 4 lakh tickets mark by Thursday midnight. The film is poised to take an opening of Rs. 25-30 crore minimum in the Hindi version. If the film gets positive talk and the ticket sales over the counter are huge, then a 40-crore opening in Hindi cannot be ruled out.

Adipurush is sure to enter the Top 3. We have to see if it can cross the 40-crore mark like Baahubali 2 did in 2017.
