Top 10: Disaster Is The Only Exception

Here we are not talking about the Top-10 list of performers in 2017 but the list of 10 most pirated Telugu films. There are no surprises as ‘Baahubali 2‘ stands on the top of the most pirated list with 9.37 downloads from torrent sites. Though the other movies on the list aren’t anywhere near ‘Baahubali 2’, they too had been the favorites.

‘Duvvada Jagannadham’, ‘Arjun Reddy’ and ‘Fidaa’ are in the successive positions after Rajamouli’s epic movie. The movie that is on the 8th position ‘LIE’ catches our attention as the movie didn’t fare well when it was released in theatres and the rest of the nine movies in the list were hits, decent performers when they came to theaters.

Though ‘LIE’ was a disaster in theatres, looks like, people showed interest to watch it online. ‘Baahubali’ even surpassed the number downloads of A-listers’ Bollywood movies like Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Raees’. On in all, Telugu films recorded nearly 16 million shares while the Bollywood movies are in high demand with 61 million shares.
