Top politician floored by Aamir team’s work

Sometimes, only few films rise above the routine formulae and emerge as path breakers and one such is ‘pk’ for sure. Day by day there is growing support for the film from celebrities. Besides film personalities, sports personality like Sachin Tendulkar was one who was bowled over by the film who gave the certificate ‘must watch film’. Now it is the turn of veteran politician, the crucial leader in BJP LK Advani.

After watching ‘pk’ with the film’s team, Advani obviously was completely in awe of the film and Raj Kumar Hirani. In a press release, Advani says, “Hearty greetings to Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra for a wonderful and courageous film that they have produced in the shape of PK. We are fortunate to have been born in a vast and variegated country like India. This however casts on all patriots a duty to ensure that nothing weakens the unity of the country- neither caste nor community nor language nor region, and certainly not religion.”

These words coming from the leader of a party which is alleged to be a Hindu party and displaying non-secular stance on various issues is gaining a lot of importance in the present scenario. Apprecialting Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma and Boman Irani for their Brilliant performances, LK Advani ji says, “In fact I believe that religiosity is for our nation an inexhaustible source of spiritualism, and so of ethical conduct. Those who run down religion, any religion, are doing a great disservice to the country and to its unity.”

Seems, ‘pk’ is really successful in making the people start thinking about the real meaning of religion and being spiritual. Hope more films which can elevate the level of Indian Cinema will be made because popular cinema is one of the most powerful medium of communication for masses.
