Top Tamil star to take Telugu hero title!

Tamil star Ilayathalapathy Vijay is gearing up for a new release in summer of 2016 under the direction of Atlee. First look of this film was released recently to good response, especially the title Theri was liked by everyone.

An effort is made by the team to have a similar reception for the Telugu dubbed version of the film and for this they have reportedly decided to get title of a Telugu hero’s shelved film. Remember the much hyped film Merupu starring Ram Charan that was stopped after few days of shoot? The makers of Vijay starrer are looking to use this title for their Telugu version.

Merupu title surely has good recall value in Telugu but so did Puli and we all know what happened to it. Let’s hope Merupu doesn’t go the same way.
