Tough Road Ahead for Gang Leader at US BO

Natural Star Nani’s Gang Leader has released today across the globe. The movie has taken a decent opening of $182,679 from 177 locations from its Premieres at the USA Box Office. This is the second-highest premiere number for Nani but then will still not make him happy.

The talk and the reviews of the movie are largely disappointing and this may have an impact on the film’s run. Probably, the makers may have anticipated this situation and ensured that the Premiere Live Collections are not reported in Rentrak. So that the negative talk will not impact domestic collections.

Moreover, Gang Leader will have its digital premiere on Amazon Prime Video. This will also have a bearing on the audience’s decision to watch the movie in the theaters. Of late, the US audience has become very selective in watching the films in theaters and so, the film will have a tough time.

As much as 30 Crore is riding on the film across the globe, it has to be seen if Nani can manage 30 Crore Share for the film. It has taken a weak opening in the domestic markets as well in the Opening day and the first weekend collections will be crucial.
