Trailer talk Gabbar is Back – going the Stalin way

First theatrical trailer of Tagore remake in Hindi, Gabbar is Back, is out. And the first impression on the film starring Akshay Kumar is not that strong one must say. The promise that the posters had is clearly missing here. It is the same story without any tweaking and once again the impact of the original versions Ramana and Tagore is missing here.

One is in a way reminded of another remake that released last year Jai Ho. This was remake of Stalin and from the first trailer the impression on it had been that of an inferior version. It is once again replicated with Gabbar. The content is strong here which could help in the film being a success but it wouldn’t be of any help to director Krish and did we mention Shruti Haasan being part of the film at all? That should sum up about her presence in the film.

The only person apart from Akki who could benefit from this seems to be actor Suman. If this film clicks he could be a new villain to look out for Bollywood audience.
