TRS shocks Opposition ahead of GHMC Polls

Ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti swept both the MLC seats in Ranga Reddy in the election results out just now. This victory for the ruling party is very special as Ranga Reddy accounts for 65 out of the total 150 wards in the GHMC elections.

The party despite not having numbers here managed to win both the seats very comfortably with the Operation Akarsha unleashed on other parties. Congress and TDP who claims to be strong here are taken back with the victories of the ruling party.

If similar results replicate in the GHMC elections too, it will be a cakewalk for the Pink Party to lay hands on the Mayor seat of the capital. The notification for GHMC elections will be out any time now.
