Director confirms Pranitha’s role in Joru

Tollywood has now adopted a trend of two leading ladies in the recent movies. In fact just in the last blockbuster titled ‘Atharintiki Daredi’, both Samantha and Pranitha had appeared alongside Pawan Kalyan and if word on the market is to be believed, these two actresses will soon also be seen in a brand new film opposite Jr. NTR.

As it so happens, Samantha has been known as the female lead for a long time. But not a long while ago, it came up that Pranitha was also going to be a part of the film. The director of the film Santosh Srinivas confirmed the news that both the actresses are appearing in the film as female leads and that the news of Pranitha appearing only as a cameo is a false rumour. Santosh Srinivas also explained that Pranitha was not chosen due to the success of ‘Atharintiki Daredi’ talking to a tabloid. Joru is the title being considered for the movie but we are yet to hear it officially from the production house.
