In many movies, we have watched two sisters romancing the same hero. It had been one of the superhit formula for a triangular love story. Here in reality two sisters who are actresses also has one single hero to come to their aid and rescue them. The two sisters are yesteryear heroine Radha’s daughters, Karthika and Tulasi. While Karthika made her debut with Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Josh’, Tulasi made her entry with Mani Ratnam’s ‘Kadali’. Both the sisters’ debut films flopped and they pinned their hopes on their next movies.
It was ‘Rangam’ with Jeeva which gave a superhit to Karthika both in Tamil and Telugu. Otherwise she would have been written off completely if not for Jeeva’s film. Now Tulasi is also romancing Jeeva in an upcoming Tamil movie ‘Yaan’. The trailer of the film was released and the talk had been in the favour of the movie. If this film turns out to be a superhit like ‘Rangam’, then Jeeva might emerge out as the lucky mascot for actresses who are sisters. In cine industry, sentiments form very easily and hence there is every scope that one more sentiment is in the making.
