United AP third in Road Accidents!

While the United Andhra Pradesh pegged back in all the areas of development, the state is being on higher side mostly in unwanted areas. According to the latest National Crime Records Bureau data, 14,647 people died in road accidents in the undivided state in 2013. Of the total people who lost their lives, more than 9.8 per cent lost their lives in bus accidents. United AP stood at a shameful third in the country with 43,048 cases of road accidents.

Rash driving and about bus drivers not stopping at bus-shelter are primary causes for bus accident. Also major portion of accidents are also taking place due to negligence of passengers as well like foot board travel etc. Officials of both the states are keen on imparting special training on Traffic laws awareness for Bus drivers. Special awareness drives are also planned for passengers about the traffic rules and safety precautions.
