US BO: Double Disaster & A Super Hit 2

Most of the films have the same fate at the domestic box-office and also in the overseas. However, films like ‘Awe‘ follow a different trend and surprise the trade. It is a super hit in the US, collected $636 K so far with limited shows. Already the buyers are in the profit zone and more theatres are being added to the existing ones in the US.

‘Tholi Prema’ seems to be going strong but it needs a million to reach the break-even figure. Looks like, at the most, it can reach that figure, neither a profitable one nor a loser in the US.

Coming to the other films, the US box-office is witnessing double disasters in the form of Manchu family’s ‘Gayathri’ and Sai Dharam Tej’s ‘Inttelligent”. While ‘Gayathri’ is tagged a disaster, ‘Inttelligent’ is outrightly declared a double disaster. The movie has collected $50 K overall having a proven director like Vinayak.
