US BO: Target NTR For YSR’s Yatra

Yatra, the biopic of late Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhara Reddy is going to have its task cut in the US. The movie has to do more than a Million to enter profit zone.

In short, Yatra has to cross the numbers of NTR Kathanayakudu to emerge as a winner. Of course, the expectations on the former were higher and bigger than Yatra, but its underperformance has given that target to the YSR biopic.

The good thing is that director Mahi V Raghav’s last outing was successful in the US. Yatra is a different genre, but if it’s made similar verve and even there is a positive talk, one million break even is a huge target for a movie like this.

Yatra hits screens worldwide on February 8th.
