US Box Office: Jailer Set for a 4 Million Weekend

Superstar Rajinikanth has staged a powerful comeback with Jailer. The film is drawing remarkable crowds across Tamil Nadu, Telugu states, and the United States.

Jailer has amassed $2,336,931 in collections by Friday, with Saturday poised to achieve a remarkable million-dollar figure.

Breakdown:

Premieres: $947,117
Thursday: $622,352
Friday: $767,412
Saturday at 9 PM EST: $864,452

Total so far: $3,202,454

On the flip side, Chiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar failed from the outset, with poor reviews and low numbers in the US, comparable to a non-star hero’s film.

Premiers: $313,804
Friday: $84,037
Saturday at 2 PM EST: $27,216

Total so far: $425,057

Bhola Shankar is on track to be a bigger disaster than Acharya and a nightmare for producer Anil Sunkara. The clash between Bhola Shankar and Jailer has resulted in a one-sided war.
