US BO: Rangula Ratnam Sinks

It has been a bloodbath kind of situation at the box office in the US. Not only have the big ticket entertainers failed, but even the small movie has also brought no joy to the distributors.

The film Rangula Ratnam backed by King Akkineni Nagarjuna was expected to bring some cheer on the gloomy overseas distributors. It is a small film taken for a meager amount. A right word of mouth would have provided massive relief to all parties involved. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The talk was weak, and the romantic drama failed to take off.

Rangula Ratnam has so far collected approximately 47k which is terrible. Of course, we have to take into account the fact that it had a full release from Sunday. The result changes nothing for Raj Tarun, but it will be perceived as another error in judgment from Nagarjuna on Annapurna Studios banner.
