The comeback film of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan Vakeel Saab has completed its Censor formalities. It has been awarded a U/A certificate. The film is all set to release on April 9th for what looks like a massive opening.

Vakeel Saab is the remake of the Bollywood hit Pink starring Amitabh Bachchan. Its subject deals with modern-day issues related to women regarding ‘sexual consent’. Given the theme, the rating doesn’t come as a surprise at all.

A Pawan Kalyan film, irrespective of the previous film’s result, is keenly awaited. With Vakeel Saab, the ‘Powerstar’ has picked a narrative based subject after a gap. We last saw him do Gopala Gopala in a similar way but in a supporting role. However, Vakeel Saab is a much more commercial and slick presentation despite most of the movie set in a courtroom. The expectations, therefore, are much higher than it.
