Star Director’s Mistake Comes To Haunt Him

In the film industry, equations keep changing every Friday as the fate of the film is known. In one day tables would be turned upside down and when such situation arises, more than the star a director has to be extremely careful.

This latest case is the best example. Director Vamshi Paidipally had a great working experience with PVP Cinemas for the film Oopiri and he didn’t mind doing a film immediately for them. The banner too went about things blindly and announced a biggie much before some of its high profile releases. Once one of those high profile films bombed, it became difficult for them to continue the film in Superstar Mahesh Babu and Vamshi Paidipally’s combination.

The star immediately allocated the dates to a new production house and assured the director as well. The director didn’t sort things out on his own, a mistake which is haunting him now. PVP banner has lodged a complaint against him for not honoring the agreement. We have to see how the director gets out of this tricky situation.
