‘Varna’ will be visually colourful: Ramji

Fantasy film Varna, which is coming out Nov 22, has built a lot of expectations in the fans of the actor and filmmaker Sri Raghava. Besides the cast, one of the highlights of the film will be the cinematography by Ramji, says he has so many colours in the film that it will be visually colourful.

Ramji said that working on the film was tough tough because he had to create a new world with a lot of colours. He added that he was supposed to create something that would look more colourful than anything in real world.

He, however, doesn’t regret working because this film gave him the opportunity to learn more from the perspective of technology. He believes that learning never goes waste and it will always come in handy on some other occasion.

Ramji had previously worked with Selva in “Aayirathil Oruvan” and “Mayakkam Enna”. This is third film with the director, who he considers a very talented filmmaker with a vision. Varna is a love story set against the backdrop of two different worlds.

He says it’s always challenging to create something with respect to fantasy genre because it requires lot of creativity. Since Varna is set in an imaginary world, he add to breathe life into it with his colours.
PVP Cinema-produced Varna features Arya and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. It is dubbed in Telugu as “Varna” and will also be released in other languages such as Hindi, Georgian, Russian and Turkish.
