Venkatesh Drushyam 2 OTT Release Date Locked?

Venkatesh is basking in the success of his latest release, Narappa that got streamed on Amazon Prime Video. The film skipped theatrical release and went ahead with OTT way. Now, Venkatesh’s other film Drushyam 2 seems to follow the suit.

As per the latest reports, Drushyam 2 release date has been locked. It is rumoured to be released as Vinayaka Chavithi special either on September 9 or 10th on Disney+ Hotstar, thus making Venkatesh’s second film taking the OTT route. The announcement on the release date is likely to happen coming month, August.

It is worth mentioning that the original Drishyam 2 starring Mohanlal got streamed on Amazon Prime Video much to the surprise of many. The film went on to garner raving reviews from critics and audience alike. Now, the remake is also getting ready for the OTT release.

Made on a meager budget, Drushyam 2 is the first Tollywood star project for Disney + Hotstar. Meanwhile, Venkatesh will be jetting off to Europe for a short break after which he would complete the dubbing formalities of Drushyam 2. F3 shoot which will take a backseat will complete shoot once Venkatesh joins the team after his vacay.
