Venki’s political stint in ‘Radha’ confirmed

There was a news couple of news ago that Venkatesh is going to play a politician in the film titled Radha that will be directed by Maruthi but soon all that was rubbished as rumors. Today, however things have been confirmed again and officially. Venkatesh indeed plays a politician in the film, apparently a Home Minister, which is said to be a political satire ion the current state of affairs.

Radha has been officially announced today and the film is expected to go onto sets from February next year when director Maruthi is completely done with his latest film Kotha Janta, which by the way is in the last schedule at the moment. Nayanatara has been confirmed as heroine for this film that will be produced by DVV Danayya. The regular crew of Maruthi will work for this film as well without any change. The makers are planning to release the film for Independence Day next year.
