Venky Mama Early Premiers – Confidence or Overconfidence?

Venky Mama is around the corner and the only film that the lead hero Venkatesh is having released on his birthday. Well, everybody knows it is a fun entertainer working on Venky’s emotional bonding with nephew, Naga Chaitanya in the film which keeps the project safe from heavy mass expectations. To see that way, Venky Mama is in no danger and yet they have come up with the F2 strategy looking at the brighter side.

Venky Mama makers have planned early shows with the US premiers to begin at 2 PM in the afternoon which is mid-night(12.30 AM) in India. This worked for F2 as the positive talk overseas benefited the film like wonders with good word of mouth spread in India. If it comes out the same for Venky Mama, they are the luckiest. But it hurts very badly if it goes the other way.

Since Venky Mama is a simple and fun film there is a good chance the talk won’t be negative even if it’s not great. Either the strategy will create wonders or it ain’t gonna do much harm. If mama-alludu bonding works on screen and generates fun, they have a winner in hand. Let’s see.
