Venky Producer’s Irking Comments on Suriya

Venkatesh’s ‘Guru’ producer Shashikanth has hit the hornet’s nest when he commented on heroes who gifted cars to his directors, the comment obviously didn’t go well with actor Suriya’s production house.

In the recent past, Suriya has gifted cars to his directors, one to director Pandiyan, another to ‘Singham’ director Hari, and the latest one to ‘Gang’ director Vignesh Shivan. Actually, ‘Singham 3’ and ‘Gang’ weren’t super hits. But, Suriya surprised by his gesture.

So, Sashikanth’s comment straightaway hit Suriya and the production house of the star hero came out trying to give a befitting reply reminding that the producer failed to pay his actors and the director of a recent movie. By the way, ‘Gang’ (‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’ in Tamil) turned out to be an average fare and the distributors of the movie weren’t entirely happy.
