Venky to star in another Bollywood remake

Venkatesh is busy awaiting the release of Masala, which is the remake of Bollywood film Bol Bachchan. The latest news is that the actor has been roped into play the role of lord Krishna for the Telugu remake of Oh My God: OMG.

Suresh Babu has bought the remake rights of the remake and writer Bobby is likely to helm the project, which is slated to go on floors next year. If Venky gets to play this role then i think it will be a great move by the senior actor to slowly move away from his superstar status and accept all kinds of roles.

Rajendra Prasad is likely to star in the role of Paresh Rawal in the original. We all know that OMG was a big hit in Bollywood, and it’s remake will only heighten its stakes. The original had a promising story line and it was executed in style with a touch of humour and pun. We have to see how the Telugu version be handled and will we do away with songs and concentrate only on the plot.
