Victoria Lee Jones, daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, is believed to have died from a suspected drug overdose. Reports say the 34-year-old was found unconscious on the floor of a room at the Fairmont Hotel in the early hours of January 1st.
Emergency services received a high-priority call shortly before 3 am. The situation was reportedly classified as “Code 3 for the overdose, colour change,” indicating a medical emergency requiring immediate response.
In medical terms, “colour change” refers to cyanosis. This condition causes the skin, lips, or fingernails to turn bluish due to a lack of oxygen. Paramedics rushed to the location, but authorities said Victoria was already dead on arrival.
Police officials stated that there were no immediate signs of foul play at the scene. However, the exact cause of death has not been confirmed and remains under investigation by authorities.
A police source confirmed that the case is pending further examination. Toxicology test results are awaited to determine the circumstances that led to her death.
Victoria Lee Jones reportedly had several run-ins with law enforcement in California in 2025. These incidents took place across Napa and Santa Cruz counties.
She was arrested multiple times on charges of being under the influence of drugs. She also faced allegations of possessing a controlled substance without a prescription and pleaded not guilty in all cases.
Victoria had appeared in films such as Men in Black II and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada. She also featured in an episode of One Tree Hill during her brief acting career.
Her sudden death and the unanswered questions surrounding it have sent shockwaves through the film and television industry.
