Deverakonda’s Clash with Star Hero

Much to the delight of Suriya’s fans, the release date of Suriya’s political thriller ‘NGK’ was announced officially. So, the movie is going to come on 31st May. The fans had been awaiting this announcement since long. This announcement means there would be a clash with Vijay Deverakonda’s movie ‘Dear Comrade’ which is also coming on 31st March.

Though NGK is a Tamil movie and ‘Dear Comrade’ a Telugu movie, the dubbing versions of both ‘Dear Comrade’ and NGK will probably have a simultaneous release in both Telugu and Tamil languages. Though the clash was not intended to be, it is unavoidable, as of now. Only if the makers of one of the two movies decide to change the release date, the clash may be averted.

However, Suriya has a decent market in Telugu and recently, he even tried dubbing in his own voice for his last release ‘Gang’ in Telugu. On the other side, Vijay is yet to make an impact in the Tamil market as his debut Tamil movie NOTA bombed. Nevertheless, Vijay Deverakonda isn’t the type to budge, so easily. Hoping, he impresses the Tamil audiences with ‘Dear Comrade’.
