Vijay Deverakonda Nervous About Getting Beaten Up

Vijay Deverakonda is pinning high hopes on his maiden pan-India film Liger. This film will feature international boxing legend Mike Tyson in an important role and this is the first time the boxing icon is starring in an Indian film.

When asked about his experience working with Mike Tyson, who once had a bad reputation, Vijay Deverakonda says the former is a changed man now.

“I knew Mike before I even knew boxing. He is a changed man now. Some of the things he says really hit me hard. But I seriously hope none of his punches connect. I am going to be really careful,” Vijay says.

Mike Tyson was one of the most fierce and outrageously powerful boxers while in his prime. Landing his punch could spell disaster and Vijay too seems to be nervous about getting beaten up while filming an action sequence with Mike Tyson.

Liger is a powerful action drama directed by Puri Jagannadh and it has Ananya Panday in the female lead role.
