Vijay Deverakonda's Ranabaali Hindi Release in the US
Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali is set to release in Hindi in the US on October 23. Overseas distributor Prathyangira Films has announced the release and shared the US theatre list, with bookings now open.
A week ago, on October 10, Prathyangira announced that Ranabaali would release in Telugu only across overseas markets on October 16. The makers had promised to release the dubbed versions, including Hindi, a week later, on October 23.
However, the Telugu version received mixed talk after its release, which raised doubts about whether the planned dubbed releases would go ahead as scheduled.
Putting all doubts to rest, Prathyangira has now confirmed the Hindi release date on October 23 and shared the list of US theatres screening the film. However, there is no clarity about Ranabaali releasing in Tamil, Kannada, or Malayalam as of now.
The Hindi release comes at a challenging time for Ranabaali, which has struggled to maintain momentum at the box office due to mixed word of mouth. However, some believe the film’s anti-British movement and divine, mystical elements could attract Hindi audiences, who have shown interest in such subjects.
It remains to be seen whether the Hindi version can find a fresh audience and provide some relief to the film’s overall theatrical performance.
