Taxiwaala Takes One Step Back

So, it is official now, the Vijay Deverakonda’s Taxiwaala will arrive a day late. The movie which was initially slated to release on November 16th will release on the 17th.

The reason for the delay is simple and can be guessed easily. Taxiwaala and the Ravi Teja starrer Amar Akbar Anthony were both slated to release on the same day, November 16th. The wise decision obviously was to avoid the clash and looks like the behind the doors talks have led to that happening.

Now, both the films get the advantage of the opening day. Of course, the second one has to deal with the loss of a day. A few weeks back also a clash between Vijay Deverakonda and Ravi Teja was on the anvil. Even then, the same strategy of arriving a day late was taken despite the movie being a different one.
