Vijay Deverakonda’s Damage Control Backfired

Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger suffered a lot due to Covid. The shoot was delayed for a prolonged period of time. Not just that, the film’s release plan was altered in view of Covid. The makers had to pick the August release. Vijay’s fans are already disappointed with the same.

Now, Vijay, in a bid to pacify the fans situation has called for a fans meet. This is a move to orchestra damage control in the context of fans being disappointed that Liger is not releasing anytime soon.

But the fans meet has backfired. The organisers appear to have messed up the invite list. Several of Vijay’s ardent followers who actively campaign for him on social media weren’t invited for the event. They are disappointed with the same and are venting their frustration on social media.

Vijay’s move to appease his fans with the fans meet event hasn’t yielded desired results. In fact, it has triggered the active fans who weren’t invited to the event.

Vijay is now left with no other option but to organise another fans meet, covering all his followers who are active on social media.
