
“He is a big superstar in Tamil. He has a superb following in both the Telugu states as well but does not show it. He is occupied for the next two and half years but did the film out of respect for Sukumar garu. He worked really hard shuffling between different shoots to finish the shoot,” he said.
“He does not show off like a Superstar. He just sits on a stool in the location. The night before the last day of the shoot, he hosted a dinner for all of us. On the last day of the shoot, he gave 1000 Rupees to each and everyone in the location,” Vaishnav Tej added.
Uppena is all set for a grand release on February 12th. The movie also marks the debut of heroine Kriti Shetty and director Buchibabu Sana. Uppena has raked so much attention of the audience thanks to the chartbuster songs. Trade Experts say the movie is likely to be off to a flyer at the box office on opening day.
