Sad News in Family – Mahesh Babu’s Event Cancelled

The 50 days event of superstar Mahesh Babu’s recent hit ‘Maharshi’ was planned to be held on 28th June at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. But, it got canceled because of a family member’s death in the family.

Superstar Krishna’s second wife, senior actress Vijaya Nirmala who was also a director and produced films in Telugu passed away on Wednesday night. She was undergoing treatment for age-related problems in a private hospital in Gachibowli.

So, Mahesh Babu‘s 50 days event got canceled. The producers of the movie planned grand celebrations as Maharshi happens to be Mahesh’s 25th movie. It would have been like celebrating the landmark of 25 films alongside the success of the film.

Nonetheless, it’s time that the demised soul is given off a proper farewell. Vijaya Nirmala was the only heroine who did a maximum number of films with Krishna as his heroine.

She was also the holder of the record in Guinness book of world records for being the director who directed highest number of films among female filmmakers.
