Vijay’s Kaththi races to 100 Cr

It was just a matter of time before Kaththi hit the 100 Cr mark. Well, it has now according to the trade and thus giving the star Vijay his second 100 Cr grosser in the process.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and AR Murugadoss combination have previously delivered a blockbuster and 100 Cr grosser in the form of Thuppakki and when a new film was announced in their combination another such grosser was expected and they have now delivered what they promised. Stupendous performance in overseas and an equally good performance locally aided by no entertainment tax, has made this feat possible.

Vijay is continuing his dream run staring with Kaavalan which was only briefly punctuated by Thalaivaa. All eyes have now shifted to his film which promises to be big budget fantasy epic directed by Chimbu Devan.
