Only Virgin Directors Can Remake My Film

In a tongue and cheek manner Alphonse Puthren, director of Premam said that only virgins could remake his film. The comment has nothing to do with Telugu remake which was released last year.

The Premam director revealed that five top production houses have come to him for remake rights of the movie. Two among them reportedly assured him that they have great directors on board who can remake the film far better than him and on a big scale.

Replying to that unique case, Puthren said that he was virgin when he made the film, and his experiences helped him make the movie which is not a perfect one. And only a virgin can remake Premam, and it need not be perfectly shot. It was clearly a jibe at the particular production houses and their “great” talents with tongue firmly in cheek.
