Star Hero Ready to Voice for AP Special Status

While Telugu film industry was disgusted for being dumb folded in case of special status to be given to AP, Tamil actor Vishal assured that he would add his voice to the promise made to the state by the central government. Speaking in the Abhimanyudu press meet, Vishal said a promise made should be kept.

Vishal has been always vocal about the Tamil politics and is also the president of Tamil film producers council. The actor is quite active in politics and even his film Abhimanyudu has some issues of a common man covered. He says that it is their responsibility to point out the issues in the society through the medium that is available to them.

Irumbu Thirai is a big hit in Tamil and is all set for a release in Telugu as Abhimanyudu on 1st June. Having asked if he is afraid of the protests if any to come for the release of the film in Telugu as did for Irumbu Thirai, he said that the film has got the censor board clearance and there shouldn’t be any problem of protests. Well, Vishal had to get police protection during the release of Irumbu Thirai and we will have to see if his political views effect the film’s progress in Telugu.
