Vishal to take advantage of Rajini’s absence

Actor Vishal is going to take advantage of Tamil New Year and is going ahead with the release of his film on April 11. Earlier this date was locked for the Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiiyaan and many films backed away to gave way to Superstar. However the unit is mulling over postponing the release of the film as the elections schedule was announced yesterday to avoid going toe to toe with the elections and getting effected in process.

Sensing an opportunity here Vishal has decided to slot his film Naan Sigappu Manithan for the same date. With no big releases post the Pongal season Vishal’s film could be the first big release after a long gap and he could get advantage of it. And since the actor himself is one of the producers of the film he has decided to take the risk. Naan Sigappu Manithan is directed by Thiru and it will be released in Telugu as Indrudu.
