Vishnu takes up comedian Sunil’s project

This is a film that was in news not recently but more than a year ago. Actor, writer and director, Tanikella Bharani wanted to make a film on Bhaktha Kannapa and for this he had chosen Sunil to be the lead. It was to take off after the director has completed his pre production work and research on Kannapa.

Now after a very long gap this project is news again but the main lead of the film has changed. Manchu Vishnu has stepped in his shoes and he would not just be an actor but also one of the producers of the film. A Hollywood production house is said to be other producer.

The title of the film has been rechristened to Kannapa Katha. It will be made in multiple languages according to the makers of the film. Other cast and crew details of the film are awaited.
