Popular cricketer shot at by Unknown Assailant

In what appears to be a shocking news, the car notable Pakistani cricketer, Wasim Akaram was attacked by unknown assailants on Wednesday. The incident happened in Karachi when the former Pakistan Cricket Test Captain was on his way to the National Stadium.

It seems that Akaram’s car was in a traffic accident following which the altercation happened. It is likely to be a case of road rage where someone fired and the bullet hit the tyre of Akram’s car. However, Akaram is not in agreement and said that the other car deliberately slammed into his from behind. His statement reads, “A car hit mine, I stopped him and then his guy stepped out and fired at my car.”

Akaram also said that the person who fired the shot was definitely an official. The cricketer has also noted the number of the car and given it to the police.
