Vikram is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and this is a big project for him. He is quickly growing as a star director but after Maanagaram and Kaithi, Master was a routine film that worked big due to star power in Tamil Nadu.
In one of his interviews, when asked whether failure affects him or not, Lokesh says “Failure does affect me as I work hard for the project. But as we get paid in crores, the pain is not that much. But I feel for those who earn less and still spend big money and do not get their money’s worth when they watch my film. When such situations happen, failure affects me a lot.”
Lokesh needs to deliver big with Vikram. Everyone is watching and if he delivers, Lokesh will be a hot cake as Telugu stars to have set their eyes on him.
On the other hand, before Vikram’s release, strangely, Lokesh asked the audience to watch Kaithi in his press release. Wonder what will be the link between these two films.
