What’s Thalaivar’s ‘Petta’ in Telugu?

The suspense on the title of Rajinikanth’s next movie being directed by Karthik Subbaraju is revealed through a motion poster showing animated superstar, Rajinikanth in a full-on mass avatar ‘Petta’.

The title of the movie is truly massy, a true feast for the Thalaivar’s fans. The background score by Anirudh is impressive enough and we know how he has been the master of background score since long and elevated many movies with the music he rendered.

Hope, Karthik Subbaraju has something really interesting that would be a visual feast for the superstar’s die-hard fans who are desperately waiting for Thalaivar’s true comeback. For ‘Kabali’ and ‘Kaala’, the makers of those respective movies chose to use the same title for both the Telugu and the Tamil versions. It looks like title ‘Petta’ will be the same for the Telugu version as well. By the way, ‘Petta’ means ‘Adda’ or ‘Slum’ in Telugu. Mass title, indeed!
