What will be the first Telugu film of 2014?

While we are aware that several Telugu films are eyeing Sankranti release, there’s one small called Biskett, coming from the factor of Maruthi, that hopes to hit the screens on Jan 1, 2014. The makers who have held on to the film for quite sometime now have finally decided to release it on New year. This way they can have at least two weeks run at the box-office.

Director Anil Gopi Reddy said that the film was slated to release this week but the called off the idea in the last minute. He said that releasing on that special day will attract audiences to the cinemas. Anil said that the film will be akin to all the entertainers produced so far from Maruthi’s team.

Let’s see if this marketing technique will work for the makers who have pinned high hopes on this low-budget film.
