When ACB struggled for answer in Court?

Senior Supreme Court Lawyer Siddharth Lodha was flown in to defend Revanth Reddy’s case on Wednesday. Mr.Lodha had brought up an interesting point for which ACB struggled for answer. The ACB already admitted that the Sting Operation was done on May 28th after Stephenson’s complaint. But the FIR was filed only on May 31st which means ACB conducted the Sting Operation without any FIR which is against the rules.

Siddharth Lodha pointed this in the court for which ACB or the Public Prosecutor struggled to answer. If at all, ACB also adds Chandrababu Naidu’s name in this case and states the audio tapes as evidence. They will have to answer how they tapped the phone call of Chandrababu or Stephenson with out FIR.

No FIR will also mean that the statutory procedures for phone tapping are not followed. ACB will have to come up with convincing answers regarding this in the next hearing. On the other side, there was no mention of the audio tapes in today’s hearing as ACB did not include about it in the case so far.
