Where will the Padma Sri issue lead to?

It is known to our readers that AP High Court had ordered Mohan Babu and Brahmanandham to voluntarily return their Padma Sri awards to the Presidents for using the coveted awards in movie titles. The court even made some painful comments like the awards are being abused by celebrities like Mohan Babu and Brahmanandham. On the other side, this ruling came as a shock to Film industry as a whole.

There are several instances in which actors used the prestigious awards in movie titles. For example, Senior NTR used his Padma Sri title in titles of many movies. Recently, Chiranjeevi used his Padma Bhushan title in Stalin film. We are told that Chiranjeevi is already in talks with legal experts to see if there is a problem for him too. On the other side, Mohan Babu and Brahmanandham are planning to appeal High Court’s ruling in Supreme Court.
