Responding to this, actress Madhavi Latha asked if she can assure that the actress will get offers even after beating the male who asked for sexual favours. If yes, every aspiring actress will beat them black and blue, says Madhavi Latha.

The #MeToo movement has come to South Film Industry but it was Madhavi Latha who was among the early birds who tried to reveal the sexual harassment anecdotes. She has a valid question. She said, “Who has the guts to touch Manchu Lakshmi?” She is Mohan Babu’s daughter and people are afraid that he would beat them up or even kill them, says Madhavi Latha.

According to her, Lakshmi Manchu should not have said that there is no casting couch and sexual harassment in Tollywood, at all. As Mohan Babu’s daughter no one would even dare touch her. But, she can at least acknowledge how other actresses must be facing the torture. According to her, actresses don’t like to complain because they are afraid that they might not get offers.

She expects that star heroines to come out and speak the truth about casting couch. This would bring a change in the industry and at least after five years.
