Who Will Face Balakrishna’s Wrath?

Barring two songs, the entire shoot of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda has been wrapped up. It is heard that the makers of the mass masala action entertainer are planning to release the film in theaters this Dasara season.

It is all but confirmed that RRR, which was announced for release on 13th October is postponed indefinitely. So, other films like Most Eligible Bachelor and Vaishnav Tej-Krish film are now looking to occupy the vacant Dasara slot. While the former is likely to release on 13th October, the latter might lock 8th October.

But if Balakrishna’s Akhanda actually locks Dasara release, it might not face much competition from Most Eligible Bachelor and Vaishnav’s film.

Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu had already delivered blockbusters like Legend and Simha. Akhanda marks their third collaboration. The actioner is riding high on buzz, thanks to the super successful teaser and attention grabbing posters.

Akhanda will surely pull the masses to theaters in big numbers no matter when it releases. If anything, its competitors will be the ones to face the heat.

If the Balakrishna starrer locks Dasara release, it will be in direct competition with either Most Eligible Bachelor or Vaishnav’s film. So, it remains to be seen which of these films will face the wrath of Akhanda.
