Who will play transgender role in Kanchana remake?

Lawrence will soon enter Bollywood with the remake of Kanchana, which will feature Ajay Devgn in the lead role. While it’s certain that Ajay Devgn will play Lawrence’s role in the remake, there’s still no certainty about who will play the role of a transgender in the film, which will be produced by Tushhar Kapoor.

Sanjay Dutt was originally considered to play the role of a transgender when Salman Khan had shown interest in the remake, but it didn’t materialize. Now, Lawrence said that he is yet to sign any actor for that role in the film. He said he is not in a hurry to sign any actor because he wants to make sure that he has the right person for the role, which is unlikely to be done by any top stars.

It is, therefore, interesting to find out who will take up this challenging role. Sarath Kumar played this role to perfection in the Tamil version and he was lauded for the performance. Who could possible fill in his shoes?
