Why are we taking piracy lightly?

Every time there is a leak within a film’s unit, producers, director and actors are quick to share their disgust on social networking platforms. However, these same people never care to take precautionary steps to stop piracy.

For instance, Manchu Manoj was furious yesterday over the trailer leak of his upcoming film. He shared his disgust on Twitter, but ideally i don’t think that’s a suitable way of handling that situation. One of the steps that filmmakers should employ is that to hire an anti-piracy agency even before the film goes on floors.

This would ensure that there is no internal leak while a film is being made. Producers usually hire an anti-piracy agency only after the release of a film, and by then it’s too late to even stop piracy feel experts.
