Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is keenly awaiting the release of Custody which is his maiden bilingual. The film is releasing on the 12th of May. As a part of the promotions, Chay sat down for an interview with M9.news and here’s what he said.
“I was very happy when Venkat Prabhu bought the script to me. We had been travelling together for a long time but this is the first time we sat down to do a film,” Chaitanya said.
He added that “When Venkat completed the script narration, I went up and hugged him. That’s how impressed I was with the script. He bought the film to life the way he pitched the story. I was very happy with the edit.”
About Nag helping him to lock noted directors, Chaitanya said “if me or Akhil ask, dad will go to any director and lock the project. He even said to us he will give advance to any director we want. But me and Akhil always wanted to prove ourselves on our own.”
Chaitanya said Custody is a thoroughly entertaining film and said he is optimistic it will enthrall the audience and also impress Akkineni fans.
