Why Chiranjeevi Okayed a Small Time Director for Son-in-Law?

When there is a chance that mega family can afford to command even the top directors to come up with a story for the debut of Chiranjeevi’s second son-in-law Kalyan, why did he give the nod to a small time director Rakesh Shashi? In fact, it’s Satyanand who is behind all this.

Kalyan was trained under the guidance of star maker Satyanand in acting and diction. Director Rakesh Shashi is a close of friend of Satyanand who advised the director to approach Kalyan to narrate his story. It was Chiranjeevi who heard the narration from the director and finally gave the nod.

Even Sai Korrapati was included by Chiranjeevi when he was impressed with the director’s confidence while narrating the story. Rakesh Shashi directed ‘Jatha Kalise’ movie in 2015 starring Ashwin Babu and Tejaswi Madivada in the lead. So, Kalyan’s movie is going to be the director’s second movie.
