Why is superstar skipping Salman’s B’day Bash?

Superstar Sanjay Dutt is out of jail on furlough for 14 days. And it is celebration time for his good friend Salman Khan. As Salman’s birthday happens to be on 27th December, a week long birthday bash has been planned in Panvel’s farm house. Only a few family friends close to Salman are invited and Sanjay Dutt’s family happens to be one of them.

But it is learnt that Sanjay Dutt is definitely going to give a skip to his good friend’s birthday bash. The reason is simple. Superstar Sanjay Dutt is presently facing a huge controversy on being favoured by the Erawada Jail authorities in getting repeated furloughs while the non-celebrity prisoners are failing to get atleast one against Sanjay’s 4-5 times.

Home Minister Ram Shinde says, “I have information that 4-5 people have requested for furlough and out of them he (Dutt) is the only one who has been repeatedly granted furloughs. We need to find out under which law has he been granted this and, if he has been extended this facility, why has the same law not been applied to others.”

After much opposition and complaints from various sources like opposition parties, write ups in newspapers and online discussions on preferential treatment for Mr.Dutt, Fadnavis government in Maharashtra has finally decided to seek a probe into the issue on why Sanjay Dutt is granted more favours. In this scenario, Sanjay wouldn’t get himself into focus attending Salman’s birthday during his present furlough.
