Why Karunakaran signed Bengali actress?

It is already known that Bengali actress Mishti has been signed opposite Nithin in his next film with director Karunakaran, who waited extremely long to find someone he was looking for the role. The film, which is expected to go floors soon, will be produced by Nithin’s home banner. Karunakaran was so impressed with Mishti in her debut film Kaanchi that he immediately signed her.

He said that he really liked the rebellious side of Mishti’s character in Kaanchi and was bowled over by the way she brought it out. The character in his film is also sort of rebellious in nature and therefore he felt she would be apt for the role and immediately approached her and managed to sign her. Apparently, Mishti is being paid a bomb for a newcomer in Telugu. In fact, she’s paid much more than many of her norther counterparts who made their debut in the south.

We have to see if Mishti can be as lucky as Nithya Menon for Nithin, who has multiple hit with the latter.
