Why sympathy –why not pride for Guna’s RD?

When the film Baahubali was about to release, publicity and people expectations, turned such a way that it became the pride of Telugu cinema. People, irrespective of their like or dislike, were to support Baahubali. Now the fact that Baahubali managed to meet those expectations made it the historical winner that it is. But the question here is why is Rudramadevi not getting similar treatment?

We all know that the subject of the film is based on our history. It’s a first of its kind attempt in Telugu cinema in a very long time and it ticks off almost all the boxes to make one feel it as pride and yet its nowhere projected as such. In fact it’s the opposite and people are attaching sympathy factor to it courtesy of director Gunasekhar. Or is it because people can see the fact that there are no real possibility of records with this projects that could be boasted and hence no pride?

It would surely be right to assume that lack of success and confidence in director has played a major role in the expectations that has been set up on the film. Surely there has been hard work but does it reflect on screen- has been everyone’s concern. The director promptly says it’s the content that will be the driving factor rather than visual wonder aspect.

All said and done numerous delays and unit’s hard work has created a sympathy wave, which as of now is working for good of the movie. Will it be enough and will it achieve a success that would in return make people feel it as another pride of TFI kind of film? In few hours we are going to get the answers!
